Voices Unbound:

A 90 Day Creative Workshop

Voices Unbound is a 90-day creative workshop designed for individuals seeking healing, connection, and self-expression through the arts. This supportive group experience uses rap, poetry, art, and writing as powerful tools to help participants explore their stories, process experiences, and reclaim their voice in a safe, trauma-informed environment.

Over the course of the program, participants will engage in guided creative exercises, group discussions, and reflective practices that encourage emotional release, self-awareness, and personal growth. No prior experience with writing, music, or art is required! This workshop is about expression, not performance.

Each session is intentionally structured to foster safety, trust, and community while honoring individual pace and boundaries. Participants are invited to share as much or as little as feels comfortable, with facilitators providing grounding techniques and support throughout the process.

FAQ

Do I need any experience with art, writing, or music?
No experience is required. This workshop is about expression, not performance. You’re welcome exactly as you are.

Is this therapy?
No. Voices Unbound is a creative wellness workshop and does not replace individual therapy or create a therapist-client relationship. While the space is trauma-informed and supportive, it is not clinical treatment.

What if I miss a session?
We understand that life happens. While sessions are not recorded and cannot be made up, you’re welcome to return the following week. Because this is a group experience, payments are not refunded for missed sessions.

Is confidentiality maintained?
Confidentiality is strongly encouraged and discussed at the start of the workshop. However, because this is a group setting, confidentiality cannot be guaranteed. Participants are asked to respect each other’s privacy and shared experiences.

Is this workshop appropriate if I’m currently in therapy?
Yes. Many participants find this workshop complements individual therapy. We encourage you to consider your own support needs and discuss participation with your therapist if helpful.

What should I bring to sessions?
Just yourself. Any materials needed for activities will be provided or clearly communicated in advance.

How do I know if this workshop is right for me?
