Child & Teen Therapy:

Supporting Emotional Growth, Confidence, and Resilience

At Heart & Mind Counseling Services, we understand that childhood and adolescence come with unique challenges. Our Child and Teen Therapy services provide a safe and nurturing environment where young people can explore their thoughts and emotions, develop healthy coping skills, and build confidence.

Our licensed therapists use evidence-based, age-appropriate approaches such as play therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and creative expression to help children and teens work through anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, family changes, grief, and stress related to school or peer relationships.

Therapy Can Help Children With:

  • Anxiety, worry, or excessive fear

  • Depression, sadness, or mood changes

  • Difficulty with friendships or social skills

  • Behavioral challenges at home or school

  • Family transitions such as divorce or relocation

  • Grief, loss, or trauma

  • Low self-esteem or self-confidence

Our Approach:
Every child and teen is different. We take time to build trust and tailor therapy to each young person’s developmental level, personality, and strengths. Parents and caregivers are included in the process through collaboration and regular communication, ensuring consistent support both in and outside of therapy.

Our goal is to help children and teens develop emotional awareness, resilience, and problem-solving skills that will serve them throughout life.

A Safe Space to Grow:
Therapy offers a confidential, compassionate space where young people can be themselves, free from judgment or pressure. We believe that with the right support, every child and teen can grow into their best self.
