Peggy Allen earned her Master of Education in Guidance and Counseling from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. Peggy’s desire to work with others was born within the classroom setting and evolved into school counseling. Her mental health journey began with the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program, yielding her inner desire to return to graduate school and become a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor.

 

   Peggy has an inner drive to stir up the dormant inner being in others, rejuvenating what was once inactive, to become active with meaning and purpose.  Peggy's approaches include person-centered, cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), mindfulness, supportive reflection, behavior therapy, as well as an open mind and heart.

   Peggy enjoys cycling on her road bike, puzzling, singing, cooking, research, and observing everything about nature.
