Shimekia Williams,
MA,LGPC

Shimekia Williams completed her Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology at Washington Adventist University. Her clinical experiences involve working alongside individual with mental health, substance use disorder and dual diagnosis. Her clinical experience focus on providing assistance and support through multiple interventions to individuals, couples, family, and group. Shimekia utilizes a variety of therapeutic modalities including, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused, psychoeducation, motivational interview, mindfulness and other evidence based practices. As a clinician, Shimekia is passionate about helping clients foster self-awareness and gain insight into their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. In her free time, Shimekia enjoys playing soccer, listening to audibles/reading, hiking, and jamming to music.
