Paris is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. Paris’s approach to counseling is through a holistic lens, meeting her clients where they are. Her eclectic means of treatment include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Play Therapy.
She has been in the mental health field for six years and has experience in many settings, including corrections, residential, and outpatient programs. As a counselor, Paris has experience working with all ages from children to adults. She strives to create safe and nonjudgmental space for clients to process trauma and to cope with everyday life challenges. Throughout her sessions, she hopes to increase awareness of feelings, thoughts, and behaviors in relation to mood disorders, relationship conflicts, and overall well-being.
