Psychotherapist Wanted

Heart & Mind Counseling Services is a growing, fully telehealth, private practice, and is seeking a part-time or full-time culturally-competent therapist to join our team!

Potential applicants must have capability to provide video-based therapy from an in-home office, and must reside and hold licensure in Maryland. We are a majority Christian therapy service and provide faith-based services to many of our clients. We are looking for motivated professionals who desire to provide mental health services to a variety of populations, and abide by the highest level of ethics. We appreciate the values of compassion, empathy, acceptance, and non-judgment.

Role Description:

  • Provide clinical services, including initial consultations, individual counseling, group counseling, couples counseling and crisis intervention to a diverse population

  • Complete clinical documentation within 24-hours of date of service

  • Exhibit a high degree of ethical conduct, integrity and confidentiality

  • Participate in team meetings and supervision sessions

  • Stay current with updated research, laws, and best practices

  • Full-time therapist positions are defined as a minimum average of 25 client hours per week

  • Fee-for-service position

Qualifications:

  • Active and in good standing license from the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists

  • Masters Degree in Counseling or other clinically related field

  • Must possess an active and good standing license (LGPC,LCPC)

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in providing therapy services

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Demonstrated knowledge of providing services to adults

  • Experience working with diverse populations, including individuals of various sexual orientations, cultures, or economic backgrounds

  • Demonstrated knowledge of effective practices and treatment modalities for anxiety-based disorders, trauma, and/or relationship issues
